SAT School Day Testing - March 27th

SAT School Day Testing - March 27th
SAT School Day Testing - March 27th

We are very excited to inform you that we have been approved to administer the SAT to our 11th grade students during our school day on Wednesday, March 27th.  Additionally, we will continue to cover the cost of this testing for all families.
March 27th will feature a regular schedule for students.  Juniors will proceed to eat their lunch after the testing concludes.
We feel that participating in these international assessments is a critical step along the way to "college and career readiness" for all students.  We also know from experience and countless conversations with college admissions representatives that an improvement as slight as 100 points on a student's combined SAT score could result in that student receiving thousands of more dollars in merit scholarship money from a college or university's financial aid office.  Instructionally, having all of our students take these College Board assessments provides us with data of the utmost value on our student population's performance indicating areas of strength and areas in need of improvement.
All college bound Juniors should plan on taking the SAT at least twice prior to the end of the 11th grade.  It is crucial that all students report to school on March 27th time prepared to put forth their absolute best effort. They should bring sharpened pencils with erasers and a calculator if they have one. Cell phones will be collected at the door and must be powered down during testing. Any problems during testing will result in immediate removal from the testing area and disciplinary action.
